Story

Over the past five years I’ve seen the devastating affect Alzheimer's has had on my Grandma, watching her slowly deteriorate and pass through stages of confusion, pain, and inability to recognise who we are. She is now on end of life care. This is a cruel disease, which causes the identity of the ones we love to be altered and erased beyond recognition. I hope, in the future, we can beat it.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, those with dementia have been one of the most vulnerable, badly hit groups of people. Please donate to support me and ensure Alzheimer's Society can be there for the people who need them most.
